I'm a creature of habit, I pretty much go to the same places all the time. Hopefully with the inclusion of this blog I can break out of my self induced confinement. On Wednesday evening I met my good girlfriend Tasneem at Cuvee in West Hartford, CT for drinks and to check out some Jazz talent. This is one of my favorite spots to chill with friends, the atmosphere is always welcoming and comfortable. Seeing that it was Wednesday it was a pretty quiet evening. When you go make sure to wear comfortable shoes if you don't make a reservation on Thursday, Friday or Saturday as you'll probably be standing in the bar. If however, you decide to make a reservation the sky is the limit...wear your heels!!! The couches are velvet and comfy so your dogs won't be barking for long. This spot is totally worth the trip though. The drinks are fabu and the food is good. Not big plates, something small that you can nosh on while blabbing with your folks and checking out the scenery.
I had this tasty little drink called a champagne cocktail with a taste of bitters and a pink sugar cube at the bottom. I love bubbles!!! Take my advice and visit Cuvee soon!
