So a couple of weeks ago I made a visit to the mall; who am I kidding I'm always visiting the mall. Anyway, in this particular case I needed to buy me so Chloe. I love it, I sampled that perfume so many times in the past 6 months that I finally decided to bite the bullet. My advise to you all when purchasing perfumes is to always ask for a freebee. The sales associate was fab and gave me a sample gift as "Perfume Week" was coming up the next week. I never heard of Perfume Week but I'm all in if it's gonna get me something free. The box came with 8 regular sized samples which included; L'eau de Chloe, Daisy Marc Jacobs, Daisy Marc Jacobs eau so Fresh, Euphoria Calvin Klein, Forbidden Euphoria Calvin Klein, Laddy Million Paco Rabanne, Lovestruck Vera Wang and Oh, Lola! Marc Jacobs. A small vaporizor and funnel were also included. Nice...
Next stop, Sephora. My memory is a little foggy regarding what I purchased at that time but I do remember redeeming about 300 of my VIB points and getting these nifty products. I usually hold on to my points for the really good products, I'm a hoarder in that way. I also hoard clothes but we'll touch that later. The sample came with all types of mini products but these are things I actually wound up using for a change. In case you didn't realize, I'm also a product hoarder...again, another time.
The samples I do remember were;
- First thing, I got that cute red and white make-up case. I pretty much use it everyday.
- Korres Anti-Aging Primer; which actually worked well. However when I went back to purchase the product the Sephora sales associate had me try Clear Prep FX as she has oily skin too. Works like a dream.
- They also had Fresh Brown Sugar eau de parfum, Tarte Smooth Operator micronized clay finishing powder and a purity face wash.
- There was also Josie Aragon Oil and some other eye shadows that I didn't use (that's what I can't remember).
All in all it was pretty successful. I love going home with things I didn't pay for. My goal is to always leave places in this manner. You should try it too!
